Raising Resilient Children  
One of the most important tasks of parenthood is helping children learn to deal with their emotions. All children experience periods of stress in their lives and need the emotional skills to deal with it. Children’s emotional resilience, or ability to cope with their feelings, is important to their long-term happiness, wellbeing and success in life.

Childcare is available when you register at least three days in advance.

Couples Communication Refresher

Join us for an evening of information sharing led by Kate Kolskog, Registered Psychologist, Clinical Marriage and Family Therapist and founder of Supporting Wellness. 
Relationships can be challenging at times, and if you don’t know how to ask for what you need you are less likely to have your needs met.  Effective communication requires practice, it involves being heard and understood, being able to relate and support one another, and balancing the demands of work and family.  This information session is designed to enhance your communication skills, and identify areas of growth in your relationship or marriage, which will aid you in creating a secured relationship of trust and friendship.  Certificates of completion are provided.

Deliberately Designing Your Awesome Future
This six-week program will assist you to deliberately choose and design your ultimate future.  We will work with each aspect of your life that you are willing to share. We will work with meditation and releasing limiting beliefs as well as adjusting your intentions around it, allowing your obstacles to decrease and consequently be released.

Cold Lake Youth Council  
ages 12 to 17
Want your voice heard? Got something important to say? The Cold Lake Youth Council is a youth-led, volunteer-based organization that acts as a voice for young people and as peer advocates on civic and social issues. CLYC has advocated for a youth-friendly public transportation system, no smoking signage in public places, hosted free no-school Friday events and planned a youth conference. Join us for the next project or drop by for a meeting to see what we’re all about.
